Bjarne Foss

Bjarne Foss has been a professor at the Department of Technical Cybernetics since 1989. Foss has a PhD. in technical cybernetics from NTNU. He has been the main supervisor for 31 Ph.D. candidates, published 300 scientific articles and been the founder of two start-up companies. Foss was vice-rector for research and dissemination at NTNU in the period 2017-2020 and the rector's deputy 2019-2020. He now heads the Kavli Institute for Neuroscience at NTNU. Foss is also Professor II at USN.
